1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

That film is tied for my favorite of all time. Amazing styling too, especially on Asano.

talking about rebuild (needles), i'm not sure if i should be disappointed that a 200+ dollar flannel shirt that was stated as made in japan is listed as made in pakistan on the care tag... am i missing something?

(edit: i am also pretty sure it stated made in japan from the place i bought it from. i still love the shirt though.)

Maybe just the tag is made in Pakistan.

Jeannie Rockwell ring (I've been meaning to email her about buying another ring. When I do I'll post in the jewelery thread but as far as I can tell her stuff is nice. Think it'd work for a lot of people here, plus she does stuff in other metals.)

perhaps the original textile was from pakistan? i've seen some stunning woven fabrics from there, a friend incorporates them in his artwork

the whole point of the rebuild line is that they're literally rebuilt from old garments. its likely the garments it is rebuilt from were produced in pakistan, although i'm not familiar with that exact shirt.

+1 to what e0d said. All the modifications by Needles are done in Japan. The donor shirts could be from literally anywhere - there's one on the Bureau where you can see 'made in Philippines' on a care tag in their photo. There's one on Inventory with United Arab Emirates (who knew they made flannel shirts?) on the tag. On the 7-cut flannels the arm could be made in a different place than the body - which is all part of the fun.

yours looks great btw, fits you well.

You mean with the hand? I did it so I could post from my phone without having to edit my face out. However, I didn't succeed in posting from my phone and did it later from a computer so it was for nothing I guess.
