1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    @Auximenes-- the jacket looks great.

@t3hg0suazn-- i agree with koy on both counts. the boots don't need to be bulbous, but they do need to have a thicker sole to balance out the rest, both proportion-wise and mood-wise. it's the thin, single sole and the smooth leather of the mmm that are the issue.

thanks bud. and yeah, no textural interest in this fit, though that kind of sleekness was what i was aiming for.

cross-post complete. i'm not expecting much of a reception, but we'll see.

@sinnedk the zb are actually only slightly roomy in the thighs. i'm keeping an eye out for other options, but most other similar pants become like leggings if I want the waist to fit right.
@nicelynice I'm holding on to this for now, but if I ever have a moment of weakness, you'll be on speed dial [IMG]

re: boots, would CCP tornados (the rounder 2009 model) work here? I have an illogical visceral desire for those, but part of me keeps saying its a bad idea since I don't see myself wearing any other ccp gear.

That jacket looks great on you, so you should probably keep :)

I don't think CCP looks great with Rick and those comfy pants (and for the record, I think those Zams look great on that fit). Even the rounder CCPs are relatively pointy. Honestly, a pair of beat-up white sneakers would go great here. Otherwise, a bulky boot with a bulbous toebox and thicker sole will round out the relaxed silhouette better than something sharp. The MMMs are too sleek and clean for that fit. Those bone Layer-0s from Aux would be perfect as well.

Here's some Jun Hashimoto / Carpe Diem joints in a similar fit:

love ghostface's suit fit.. i wonder if a more traditional neapolitan suit can also work with those shoes?

Actually if Ghost is posting suits I might as well too
Been sneaking in some fashion items to client meetings, nobody has said anything yet. Honestly don't think anyone cares, my coworker showed up in a suit + Merrell hiking boots...

    1. Yes and thats what makes the ZB look odd and take away from the slimness of the fit.
    2. CCP any year would look good with that fit.

Pants and jacket looks good to me. I don't think pants are too big. Zam pants aren't supposed to be skinny as you can see on zfactorie. Different boots would make the fit better. Maybe just Guidi?

Hey guys, I'd like your thoughts on this colour scheme. Does it work/look good? Cheers.

looks good, man! but if that's denim (can't tell on phone), then untuck from boots - tucks just not working there

Thanks guys, but where does this animosity towards boot tucking come from on SF? And I'll post one without boot tuck, let me know which is better.

It's more like the boot tuck here just doesn't work.

navy + gray + white + black = colors that work together in my book.
