1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

hopefully you trust your tailor! best bet - if he/she's untested - is to brig in one pair of pants for a test run to see if their work is good...tapering sometimes turns out horrendously

edit: not hazing @Benesyed - just giving a guy friendly advice. we've seen it happen before, where people accelerate too quickly and make costly mistakes/regrettable purchases.

but, by all means, Mr TG can do whatevs and so far seems to be doing fine

I put all of my trust in a man named Tassos. He's never seen or met me but he's gonna make sure I like da shoes. And thanks to a few other SF'ers who guided me through the process.

The derbies I'm getting a a little more pointy than I'm used to but not aggressively so. I think it's all gonna be all right.

Thanks, really like the fit you just posted.

Yeah I totally agree. The only trousers I have are too formal, I haven't found more causal ones that I can make work.

Comme des garcons homme plus, got it off b/s from spacepope!

i know this post, and the resulting discussion, is from a while back, but i really would disagree. i think smiley's posts are always thoughtful and interesting, with the right amount of restraint. this one is not exactly exciting, but i know what he's trying to do with it, and i think he succeeds.

Striped jacket does not work with the rest and the sneakers are meh (though they'd probably look better with a smaller leg-opening)

I really dislike the sneakers and don't tuck in the tee just to show off the buckle.

^^Hmm, okay. I was actually tucking in the T so as to add a little height to the overall look. I generally don't tuck in my shirts.

    Thanks for the feedback.

If you wanted height the one thing you don't want is contrast in mid region it visually will break things up. Honestly just keep everything well fitted and have things hemmed to the right length. I'm only 5'8" snow, breezy, diniro, mikey, nahneun are also shorter side..there's a lot of shorter dudes here.

Now that's solid advice. Thank you.

What a freaking emotional roller coaster this whole trying-to-look-good is. God dayum.

@ghdvfddzgzdzg I really like the proportions there. Are the jeans black raws? Been thinking of getting a pair to beat up. Also you should find some kind of noragi thing, think it'd go great with a lot of your stuff
