1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

At first I was going to suggest you check the MC side of SF, given your age, but so many of those guys are really stuffy and you're probably not interested in wearing pocket squares, or getting the perfect lapel width. Instead, I'd suggest you take inspiration from some of the older members who occasionally post in this thread and manage to look well dressed while still looking their age.

+1 for the laceless Margiela version, Chet. I would of said navy...but since you said you have others, green is the way to go

yeah both look good but green definitely more interesting, I would say navy if you plan to wear it often and green mix if only once in awhile

So I've been putting off posting fits because I only have a camera phone to take photos with plus was going to wait to get my hair cut but fuck it. Although it is disappointing that I can't show detailed shots of the apron from the back because the layers are pretty fucking awesome there.

So is that like a fashion apron or a cooking apron?

    fashion apron
haha true, didn't realise that until I was in the bathroom. I don't have any mirrors at home apart from the medicine cabinet so I can't really tell what I look like until I find a decent restroom.

Also decided to wear the apron today because the shirt collar was unexpectedly huge (only got in the mail earlier today) so needed something to balance that out. Normally I wouldn't wear it because it is such a hassle to take off when i need to take a dump lol

i'm not sure "1800s french house painter" is where this guy is in his progression, but i guess the exposure can't hurt

eh, respectfully disagree. just because it's tender doesn't mean i have to look like a railway worker or something.

    Thanks!

Got it off guyi consignment. It was lying around there for ages but I think at some point in the last year it was briefly taken off the site.

Cheers to you, Kid Nickels. Guitar and vox. My main band is Colorway but I also play and travel with the Young at Heart Chorus whose average age is 80 and they sing rock tunes. So by comparison I do feel pretty young around them ;)

And thanks all for the kind words and suggestions. I'm a fan of MoK for sure but hadn't seen some of the others you mentioned. Very cool. I'm also trying to up the clothes I perform in and so I've picked up a few more out there pieces lately (blue satin SLP bomber and silver boots). With no children and my with my profession it's easy to forget I'm not still 25 (though I would rather forget the styles of 1995). But I think I at least know what looks ridiculous for everyday vs what I'd want to play to a full house in Tokyo. That said if you can own it you really can wear whatever you want. Your pic just might end up as an ironic example right here in the halls of SF.

    Later all.

The green one is really good, Chet. The navy one is fine too, but the green one is especially nice.
