1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Not thrilled my first submission here in years is a low-res mirror pic but whatever--trying to get myself to post pics a little more so it's a start.

Nothing amazing but it is indeed what I'm wearing.

This is great - I love vintage printed shirts and have several in my closet, but my favorite ones have mostly been worn out and tossed. I have one now that's on it's very last legs, with the collar and cuffs fraying badly. That's the problem with vintage, and maybe part of the charm, but a lot of those pieces end up having limited use because of their age.

I know most people disagree but distressed gats don't look right in the fit.

I find it very beautiful, leather is as soft as anything I've experienced and I especially love their Havana color the contrast stitching which I think is their best (but I am biased haha). Thats weird snow, mine folds exactly where it is supposed to. You probably had a different model though. I do prefer soft thinner leathers since I like it to feel like I have nothing in my back pocket so thats a plus for me. As of right now I don't have any complaints as far as construction or durability....maybe in a couple of months I'll have a better idea. Margiela card carriers for example hold up wonderfully and I've never had a problem so I expect good things from Valextra

Right now I only have the card holder, I am waiting on the passport wallet to arrive (I've had my eye on it for a while)

You will just have to take my word for it, but if I had a full body pic you could see how nicely it all comes together. Maybe if I was wearing a suit jacket I would do boots, but the 5Zip just screamed painted trainers to me for some reason. Next time I wear them in that context I will try to take a full pic. Pretty much my boots made it look too clean, needed something else

I had this in mind. I rarely get feedback anymore and there is always room for improvement

^ love that pale gray suit with painted sneakers. I regret not getting a pair of those white Maison Marshmallow espadrilles too. Chet B fit looks pretty cool to me.

Everything looks like shit when it's cropped in MS Paint.

Clothes is for work. Some days I have to go full suit, some days I can get away with a jersey blazer/sweater, but I always have to wear a tie =(.

Ish. It looks like he isn't wearing a belt though. If he were, it would look better. It's not extending past the bottom of where the belt would be so technically it's okay.

@RegisDB9 Hm, from that picture of your wallet, it almost looks like saffiano.

Educate me on what saffiano leather is?

'Grained Leather' is what I was told it was

Oh okay. I guess it isn't in that case. Saffiano is basically just vinyl coated and embossed leather. Feels kind of plastic-y but moisture and scratch resistant. A lot of handbag designers are moving towards it like Prada and Ferragamo. I'm not a fan though.

Hey you learn something new everyday. It definitely feels like quality leather, I'm not as experienced as some of the posters here with leather but if it felt like plastic I could probably tell haha (and would have returned)
