1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Wow, boots. $860? What a bargain. That is a bargain for me... I think I will buy some.

SVB, the navy blazer, grey flannel trouser, and snuff suede footwear is my go-to combo. Well done, though the driving loafers seem a bit too casual for the rest of the ensemble.

Have you though about tying a smaller knot and giving your ties (those wider than 8cm/3inch) a dimple? The large knot is not congruent with the rest of your physique in my opinion. For knit ties I suggest the kent knot over the FIH or Half Windsor.

    GIF, may load slowly:

I can see stitches in something more along the lines of a bastardized workboot style. What about these guys? They're stupid cheap and aside from the alarming lack of speed hooks I really like them for how you want to wear your boots.

I used to have some similar ones in a distressed waxed black suede and I really regret selling them a few years ago. but at least now I've got my black Timbs

thats hilarious. el bert sent me that link last night and i have been mulling it over since. some other peeps that PMed did not like those much. seem to garner a love or hate reaction. i think the style of the boot does very much fit with the kind of boot for the kind of look i want. thanks, 4est!!!

btw, you guys are all awesome for the amount of help and effort you put into this, i really appreciate it.

i feel bad to log jam this thread for a second day though, so if this is starting to annoy people, i have more than enough to work with for now.
