1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    it's not that the shirt is bad. it's just that a better shirt would elevate this to top tier status.

    I'll concede the stacking doesn't look bad here although I personally don't condone any stacking above the knees. And I'll amend that any thin wool fabric will never look good 'stacking' a la Bene's pic, but I assume this guy here is wearing at least a mid-weight or heavy-weight wool pants which lend to some semblance of structure in stacking. Side note, the one button thing annoys me to no end when there's three or four buttons, moreso than nahneun's whining.

    Bene,

    I just noticed, did you steal Jameister's technique of bending your arms to hide or compensate the extra sleeve length?

    I have retired from button downs. Strictly knits. :)

    @isa

    Yohji pieces often intentionally have sleeves that extend beyond the appropriate length. I actually like it better that way personally for casual wear. I think the bunching up of the pants is a good thing. It would look really stale otherwise. Together both modifications would be a very generic, and to me, uninteresting fit. I already have a professional suit for interviews and other boring situations that fills that purpose.

    So a button-down shirt not a long sleeve T essentially?

    Parker, cool I will check out that video later. But I still think that low-volume pocket square is more my steez. I like to play it low-key, knameen?

    Bene,

    I figured that was intentional Yohji. I think the infinite drape/sleeve thing works when you have the grand canyon as your fitpic backdrop a la da Shah, but if med school and normal city's the context I'd recommend taking them to a tailor.
