1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Thanks! Thats what dcg said when he made me buy it!!

Fits really well as far as I can tell. Its green. I think it will be great with my incoming natural color gustins. I feel like right now all my SWD stuff is in solid colors. Guess thats my comfort zone for now.

Saw some really cool speckled shirts, one was sugar cane forget the other. Maybe flat head or something, but not my level now. And mad expensive too. But so awesome.

I always wondered if CM people would nerd out over high end heritage/repro stuff. Seems it would appeal to the construction/material/etc. minutiae that they seem to love.

Also, it's pretty great that Mrs. SvB embraces his internet persona and even contributes.

Cant speak for anyone else in CM, but the ish in BiG and SE was amazing as far as I have to say. Fabrics and handworking was top notch.

Sidenote - Stopped in at Epaulet. Was honestly surprised they did not have a life-size cardboard SVB cutout in the store.

Stitchy that's a dangerous manoeuvre! If my bare foot touched the subway floor it would have to go

I like the way that jacket is draped- how does it look buttoned up?
The traditional articles with the against-the-grain fit make for a cool contrast, zappa.

Fear not. My bare feet did not touch that nasty floor.

I don't know what prices get charged in New York, but Sugarcane really isn't that expensive in Japan - in fact for the quality, I reckon it's one of the best value of Japanese workwear brands - those shirts are the equivalent of around $100 here. I especially like their Mister Freedom stuff, although I'm not sure you'd want to be dressing like a 1930s Mexican revolutionary (their current inspiration)... or maybe you would! I'm just uhm-ing and ah-ing about whether to get myself some of their cord stuff from that range. The Flathead, very nice indeed but, yeah, pricey, even out here (the shirts start at over $200...).
