1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The direct order one still hasn't been made yet (but I'm pretty much resigned to duties)... I did buy thewho's though in the meantime.

sad. he shouldn't have sold it. they have a lot of stretch in them due to the weight. it's like armor though - blows SNS out of the water.

i am going to forecast and say it is too small for you cyc
I think my size 40 will be too (I'm a usual 38), but will not look short like teg's as mine is a long 6A. At the very least I can bum around at home with a warm Aran knit

you guys are terrible at knits. im sure if your'e a 38 a 40 will fit fine. you just need to wear it for more than 5 mins to give the wool a chance to fit to your body. knits break in just like jeans.

sorry teg, those nikes are ugly and completely incongruous. "i'm comfy" is a shitty excuse for a post on an internet fashion forum, otherwise i'd post fits in my sweatpants and slippers.

That may be so, but I also figured it wasn't the kind of knit I want in my wardrobe anyway. It didn't get nearly enough wear, and I'm glad I'm putting $$$ toward something that I've at least tried on before and that will work much better with other things I own.

Besides that, I kind of realized I don't want an armor-like knit. There are other knits cardigans I've seen now that I prefer, even if they aren't as warm.

I dunno man, it gets really cold out in the Midwest. I don't really want to own something I can't layer with.

    edit: excessive use of "really"

Also, I'm not really sure this is a fair comparison. SNS and Inverallan make completely different kinds of knits.

are you drunk? those nikes aren't ugly, they're amazing. black montreals on a lunar sole. nike puts more 'design' and thought into their sneakers than 95% of fashion brands, and comparing them to slippers is retarded. there's a reason lots of people on SF buy flyknits and frees, and it's not because they're buying into the hype. extremely comfortable, stylish and versatile. i know you're all in your workwear niche, but you should know enough about clothing at this point to recognize nike for what it is - a marketing juggernaut that dominates its market like no other clothing brand in the world. look at how their sneakers have evolved over the last 5 years, and look at everything else. it's fine if you disagree with their inclusion in the outfit, but completely missing the point (and the place nikes occupy) is something else.

i think nikes can look damn good in certain fits, but paired with an inverallan simply looks out of place dude.

you can be snarky, you can think it's a bad pairing, but don't be stupid. that's inexcusable.

Because stupidity is inexcusable, right? Fwiw I agree with Mikey somewhat. It's kinda ugly but ugly enough that it could look good to some people
