1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Hmmm maybe I guess I just been looking at too many Dries collections today that made me think that every piece didn't have to be same color tone. But I get what your saying that they do clash somewhat.

Those NDG pants have the wonkiest fit and fabric on the planet, used to own a pair
The gray is extremely good looking and they're nice and thin, but nowhere on the entire pant do they fit properly in any sizing configuration

The jeans yeah they do have weird fit but I've actually broke them in pretty well now but when I first got them they were really stiff I think the color was only reason I even kept them.

Please tell me this guy's involved with that GQ crap that's brought a resurgence of terrible fashion blogs postings.

Haven't posted a fit in a long time. The pattern doesn't show up right, but it's white on navy polka dots

Why would you say that? He's just a guy who clearly didn't expect to be eviscerated for what he thought would go down well. Thing is, for better or worse, pretty much everyone on both sides of the forum hate this kind of GQ-influenced style. He wasn't to know that... FWIW, I quite like the suit and it's nice to see the occasional man who isn't afraid of colour, but the tie is meh although at least it is the right width for the lapels, the shirt collar is too small, the socks are a bit light in colour (although at least he's wearing socks...) and yes, the fish hook tie bar is silly.

I'd be interested to see what the reaction would be in CM...

Man, NOBD you are good dude. That gingham shirt tucked into jeans under a blazer look is something that's probably been done a million times and looked dadcasualoltastic every single one of them but you somehow make it look completely fresh and inspired.

That makes me think of which posters have complete command of their style and almost never hit a false note.

    Trailleur

    kgfan
David Lee from the Yohji thread

I think Artishard has been getting there recently.

Wow, I missed this. Really great. I wish my alpaca jacket was in that colorway.

I'd add Man of Kent to that list (and TTO, if you count him as SW&D enough...). And I don't really like the look myself, but brad_t is pretty damn consistent in achieving what he's aiming at.
