speaking of chairs and dancing, I may be the only one old enough to rember this, but wayfarers and the untucked shirt made me think

just poking fun. you're a good sport for posting so many photos. fwiw, I think the mininmalist stuff is better for you than the pseudo-prep look.

Was just trying on some new clothes.

The pants are Zam Barrett DNA Minimalist pants in 100% linen. I am shocked on how they fit particularly that I had no idea they were basically J-shaped hence the drape effect. Not sure whether to hem them as well as the inseam is quite long but does not drag on the floor when shoes are off. I imagine the look better with some type of derby .

I can attest to Shah's comment that they are nice. Very heavy for one thing but when worn the linen is quite airy. The rise however is questionable as I am basically sagging on ******. Not sagging but they sit low compared to what I am use to now. Reminds me back 7+ years ago...

They are nice, size 48 but IMO best fit a 46 or guys who have a thinner thighs. The pants capture idea of a casual luxe sweat pant without looking like sweat pants that most designers try to do S/S '12.

Why Shah has these as well I have no idea because they are basically skinny/slim compared to his other Yohji influenced clothing.

once in a while i do wear slim-ish stuff, they aren't that tight tho (sized up to 50)

though I don't mind parting with them if don't get much wear...

by and large I agree but hagg's 'minimalist' efforts usually end up looking like he raided a sale at Express.

haha, good point, but I think it's a generally better direction to go in for a musician / bachelor / espresso connoisseur.

The photo does not represent the weather, which was sunny, when I donned the outfit, but one should not exchange fun for more accurate colors, right?

Which color do you find most inaccurate? White or that terribly khaki?

It is an ascot neckerchief and the polo fit is not bad, just not trendy, but you are right about the last assertion.

@VSLI,
I referred to the weather. And there is no khaki in the outfit nor white, just cream.

I think what they are trying to say is... what you're wearing looks like ****.

I actually think Victor Elfo's fit is an interesting concept executed poorly

Seriously, we see the goth ninjas, the urban woodsmen, the minimalists, the Jesse Thorn proteges. But we never see the dainty eccentric polo ascot person.

My suggestion-- buy a plain white polo that fits. Then post another fit pic, ascot and everything, just for my own amusement.

So do we turn into a giant robot once we get that dainty eccentric polo ascot person?
