1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

hot damn! MoK cracked a hundo! presently tied with bows for #7 all time. :slayer:

    :embar:

I've only just noticed. I've not been on here much the last couple of weeks due to a boss who seems rather driven at the moment.

I thought the YYPH trousers worked well, but wasn't 100% convinced by the shirt.

    Thanks folks

Mrs. MoK (or FoK :embar:) is okay with this detour into drape-land?

    Also, has MC disowned you?

there was nothing wrong with the shirt in your previous fit and is the one part of that fit I liked.

Mrs MoK has a lot more to put up with from me than just drapey trousers :)

I think MC gave up on me a long time ago. If I'd have hung around much longer Manton would have self-combusted. :D

    lol just let them be

on the other hand, as much as I am tired with all the silly "timeless" talk, I'd still say that a proper black tie (tux) is almost transcendental... it makes anyone look good and the uniformity leaves no room for peacocking. in that regards I do respect black tie as close to "timeless".

Yes, you're right. There is only one style of tuxedo, one universally accepted definition of "proper black-tie," and there is certainly only one objectively definite way to "look good."

Exactly, and this is why it's always a brilliant idea to take the opportunity to have a tailor make one for you for cheap if you're in Thailand or somewhere similar, you're almost guaranteed it will look great.
