1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The stuff above about PG is correct. He was mainly into designer brands and then moved into more classic and bespoke stuff. He always had excellent taste though imo. Great guy too.
Thanks. I agree that something brown prob. would've been better. But I've been wearing these boots as much as I can the past couple weeks. They're the most comfortable and protective ones I own. Plus, I'm meeting their maker in the fall and would like them to be resoled then.
I've only worn forward for as long as I can remember -- at least 30 yrs. But I'm starting to warm up to the thought of a single reverse pleat. I think a maomao pic was what did it.
Good idea. Would get rid of the douchy iphone in the pic. But my wife would kill me. I've take a few w/ a timer. This was just spontaneous.
I'd go w/ forward pleats for wide legs.
Taste changes. At least mine has. I liked slim, straight pants in the early 80s, wide, double-pleated, very tapered ones in the late 80's to mid 90's, wide straight, flat front ones from then till about 7 years ago, and slimmish, slightly tapered ones w/ or w/o pleats the since. Five years from now, who knows? Maomao is the man. Not a fan of those loafers though.

I was going to add some female legs in high heels and some breasts, but I thought that would be a bit too creepy.

i don't know him personally, so this is all things I know from his tumblr, but he seems to be in love with the "cycling culture/rapha" side of things but isn't really into the actual athletic/sport aspect. it's kind of hard to articulate.

also (and this has been mentioned) but what the fuck is with tagging everything "firstworlddatingproblems" "firstworldpelotonproblems" "firstwordstuckupassholeproblems"

    moo that jacket is great

guido is an interesting fellow, he coins stuff that only he in his mind thinks is witty or funny and then repeats them over and over and over again creating his own memes solely for his reading pleasure

I'd love for you to expand on the cycling criticism a bit as it's not something I understand. He rides 90km most Saturdays and seems to ride most days. Does he have to race to not be considered "the worst of cycling"?

I don't really get the criticism of his blog either tbh.

He's just posting what he likes.

I still think he has good style.

I think maybe he's implying PG is more into the look and romance of being a cyclist. Of wearing the gear, the cap with the brim turned up, the fancy bike, imagining himself in the Tour de France. I'm not saying that's what PG is doing, but he does seem to have dove right into it.

Is there a follow traffic laws and stay in bike lanes aspect of cycling that more people can be passionate about?

Best part about PG is how he tooted his "Grown Man Style" horn forever, and yet once he got a job at Apple and didn't have to wear suits anymore, he starting wearing loud nikes. Not sure why I keep following his blog - I find his online persona somewhat irritating.

His suit and tie game was some next level shit though.
