There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

black is only appropriate for overcast weather in highly urban environments. we've established this.

I was more confused by "tropical" sunglasses as opposed to urban sunglasses.

    Tropical locs sound better?

Fit looks great, I just noticed the contrast between sunny day/yellow tortoise sunglasses and the black clothing (I guess I the only one that notices these things). But this is coming from a person that owns 2 black pieces that I only wear at night eh, shrug

a cape and a body suit, right? thought so. :slayer:

i wear a lot of black, even in summer, but in new york it's pretty common. when i go to mexico (only beaches I've been to in last few years) i tend to leave the black at home. i don't know. kinda depends on setting rather than weather for me

I told you this in confidence...

Yeah, weather wise seems I've just been accustomed to seeing brighter colored clothing and not much black during the day

Less of a waywt more of a help-me-swd.
Should I size down on this or keep it as is? All the lengths seem fine but it fits very blousy, seems to flare out a lot at the back, sleeves very wide etc. I know EG isn't all slim fit everything but I thought I'd double check with people who know more about this than me

Sell it to me. But for real it looks good. Maybe consider getting the sleeves slimmed by like an inch?

the shoulders look a little big, but a lot of the eg structured jackets seem to have big shoulders for their chest size. i think i size down would be too small (and short, specifically). i actually think it looks pretty cool. you could probably cuff the sleeves when wearing with a t-shirt which would look good.

Need to find a pair of white levi's 511 to wear it with but I can't find them anywhere in the UK online, maybe I'll pop down to the store in a few days...
Anyone have any other white jean recs? (fairly loose top block, decent taper)

Edit: yeah the shoulders might be a little big but that I don't really mind, it's mainly the sleeves and flaring out at the back that bother me but I can work with it. Cuffing improves it significantly.

I hear Uniqlo white jeans are OK. You can probably get a US proxy if you want the levis, too (iirc the UK prices are absurd). Otherwise, yoox is always a good bet.

I don't think I'd alter it at all. It looks nice and relaxed, like you could even fit a thin waffle knit underneath it maybe? I say keep, but if it is bugging you....

Thanks for all the help you guys
From the ones I've tried, Uniqlo jeans tend to be too small in the top block for me. Thunder thighs. But I'll try on a white pair next time I'm in London for sure. And Levi's are like £70 a pair here, which is $100+... Ridiculous.
A knit would fit under this for the spring months without a doubt.

    Looks great!

I just got in a pair of Levi's Made and Crafted Tack slim fit jeans, they may be the best fitting jeans I have tried so far and they have them in white...

Ebay from the states is an option - it's where I've picked up 511's in black and beige, only got caught with customs charges on one pair, but even with shipping + customs they tend to be cheaper than over here...
