1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

If you're going to stick with Yohji, the key thing is to get some trousers that are easier to pull off - oversized top block and thighs is fine, but get something that tapers to a more normal ankle

Ya there are a few good options on ikkon and lagarconne

But i partially am deterred by lmd's very true point that I'll almost never get to wear it. My initial non chalance has dissipated. :(

MOK,jacket looks amazing. However, those jeans seem a bit too light to work with the earthy top imo...

haha I don't know. I just feel you would be more suited with a pair of balmain biker jeans, a slutty tee and a leather jacket.

Thanks - the jeans aren't as light a grey as the picture suggests, but yes there is quite a contrast.

switched the deep v to a regular v, gray to white, new selvedge levis that aren't rolled up, and of course the schneider cardigan

I like that you're trying a bunch of stuff to try and get a few looks just right, but that one doesn't work. t shirt looks cheap and something about Schneider just never seems to work with jeans.

caseyfud; I think the cardigan looks way better over a button up shirt, doesn't look as cool over a t-shirt. atleast so far.

    that jacket is awesome.

infact, the whole thing is awesome, I like the dark top/light jeans look

edit- i think the color might be off on my monitor, because they look like light wash blue jeans, but apparently they're grey. I'm just going to pretend they're blue though.

casey, collar looks like the sort on tees that are used for sports [IMG]

edit: and schneider doesn't really go well with selvedge jeans

Fuck yes MOK - I got to try that jacket on a few months ago and I'm super jealous.

    - I don't think the grey jean or the cuff looks great here. I saw a fucking ultra-fly japanese dude today wearing the crazy cameraman and he had just gone all-out: super full chunky wool trousers, big-ass boots, looked great. I don't think the jeans are too slim - I would have felt great wearing that jacket with my APCs - but I do think the color is off, and I think beastly wool trousers would look a lot better. throw on some tricker's, too!
