1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Trust me, I understand monetary limitations. All throughout Summer, I needed, but couldn't afford, a pair of khaki shorts. In fact, though Summer and Fall, most of the fits I was cobbling together were embarassments due to the fact I had outgrown most of my decent bottoms. I've managed to make some purchases recently that have helped me out immensely, and I'll be posting the resultant outfits here for your delight (the most recent one was pretty much a retread.)

What you people don't seem to realize is that every time I get dogpiled in WAYWT, an incredible show of support gets delivered to my PM inbox. Here are some of the more recent encouraging messages:

With the recent [IMG] ramblings on MC I am always glad I can turn to SWD for some sanity.

Damn Moo, that's a serious monetary turn around. Good consignment/thrift stores nearby would be great, all we have here is a load of vintage shit

This talk about bows' shirt is just reminding me of how I missed out on buying something last weekend for $300 that the guy who wound up with it is getting offers in the neighborhood of 3 grand for. I picked a lousy time to actually go out on a Saturday night. :(

I've been all about this brand called Whipper Snapper, brewed in Sheridan Oregon. So tasty

Yeah... the strangest part of the whole thing was that, when I purchased it I didn't know what it was. I knew it was heavy, smelled like amazing leather, and looked "interesting", but there were no markings at all other than the Lampo zippers. I sat on it for something like a year - most of the time spent in the back of my storage closet - until I saw another Guidi bag and had a "wait a gd damn second" moment. :satisfied:

it definitely appeared to me to be a joke but i've seen comparable situations turn out to be very serious, and sad.

He then woke up from this bitter, and yet somehow wonderful dream. He didn't know what tomorrow would bring (as few of us in life do), but he knew that the day was still young, and his for the taking. He may get scoffed at, looked down upon, made the fool, but he was still tagutcow. No more, no less. As he stood up from his couch, and stretched his back, he reflected on life, and its many surprises. In that moment he felt a sense of contentment he had not felt in a very long time. It didn't matter what curve balls life threw at you, he thought to himself. All that mattered was that you were alive, and still on your feet.

He then put on his t-shirt and ill fitting jeans, mussed up his hair, and went out in search of his destiny.

  20. Someone in the RFT said few people look good in b balls. I don't think I'm generating too much sausage casing vibes.
