+1. It is most likely he has not been posting since he works at a university and is on sabbatical. See here...

Additionally, the woman posing every day in his pictures is clearly his wife. Why does everyone keep saying it's his daughter? Is it because she occasionally wears chucks and skinny jeans together with her Hilary Clinton-like jewelry? Hahaha. Just zoom in and look at her hands and neck-- she's as old as he is! Plus in the sidebar he mentions his wife about a half dozen times, including how he likes shopping at Anthropologie with her. No daughter is ever mentioned.

Amazing how people create a 10+ page thread about him supposedly dying and his "daughter" posting his funeral pictures to his blog, yet all the evidence to the contrary is staring them right in the face

Used to be, many moons ago. Still know the lay of the land.

More like, "Hey, Sully, Merry X-mas you old son of a bitch!"

I can't put my finger on exactly what's different here Stanley van Buren, but you are well outside your comfort zone....

The sweater has a military air to it....the duck boots show you mean to enter where you might catch leprosy....you seem aggressive, even belligerent....you're in a defense stance, and you are not amused...

It's as if your ladyfriend decided to "slum it" and (despite your protests) took up that poker challenge from those greasy sleazes from across the tracks (you know, the ones that have been working on next door's pool renovations from 8 to 4 for the past 2 weeks--the ones who have been whistling at her, not that she hasn't been encouraging them)...and she went with them to their filthy dive where you know there could well be more than poker....so you had to go as well, to oversee the tables and make sure everyone behaved themselves...

A Fellow Linguist, the hand towel in my photo is Slimane-era Dior. Really soft hand and it's aged fantastically.

Thanks for all the thumbs up and comments guyz, I'll post a real fit at the end of the week when the rest of my wardrobe comes in

you know miran, I got the exact opposite vibe from that. I saw "dad out raking wet leaves but only because mom is making him do it now because the neighbors are coming over for cocktails and dessert after they all go out to dinner but he would much rather just watch the game and wait for them to dry and take care of it tomorrow with the mower"

every single bit adds up to this, except for his age of course. the hair, the beard, the glasses, the sweater and shirt, the trousers and lastly the ubiquitous bean boots.
