What do you think about the CP's quality-wise? How did you size? I recently ordered and went TTS.

I was out walking this morning through the fresh piles of snow, which made for an adventure since most people hadn't shoveled their walks yet. So it was mostly long stretches of deep snow or deep water from all the rain we got right before the snowstorm.

Thankfully I was wearing some boots that belonged to my old roommate when he went through basic, so my feet remained completely dry.

So nice Sha Would you say Cordovan PTB isn't as resilient as those suede boots? (I know I just cant drop them out of my mind :embar:)
Also envy the snow. We are supposed to get one this week but IDK with 40F weather right now... Whats going on in this world??

Funny you should say that. A year or two wearing BR gave me half-zip PTSD so bad that I will never own a Stark.

thanks, i have limited experience with cordovan, but of course, higher quality leather will fair better in general, and being black it is less prone to showing small damage or water spots, etc. check the alden thread, NYR took his cordovan from a destitute state to amazing with just a wipe and some hard brushing. that said, i don't treat these suede boots with care except for the first application of water repelant i mentioned and they are still going quite strong after a harsh winter last year.

I guess I prefer "v-neck" cardignas, and that´s one of the reasons I wouldn´t get that Stark one. Another one is that I really don´t like that many buttons. If people like it and it´s comfy, wear it by all means. But I don´t see it growing on me; unless someone would ship me theirs and let me try it on for a while in order to change my opinion... Anyone??[IMG]

Shah, those are great boots but aren't you going to kill the suede wearing them in that kinda weather?

Edit: posted before I saw your reply up top

upon further consideration, I don't think the suede bucks work with the tweed pants.

they don't, but they work better than the Nettleworths (?) (Nettlestone?) (wtf?) things you wear normally.
