Well tcwalter has spoken and it was a miss. thanks for the advice though guys, there was some encouragement in there too to go forward. I agree with basically everything that everyone said, and I think I really will try something like this again, even if i'm not a tall skinny badass japanese dude. I'm pretty new to messing with proportions and like I said before, I thought this could be a fun way to try and take inspiration from something that is pretty out there AND do the proportion game. big boots, skinny tights, baggy low drop crotch shorts, overly long vest to counter the low shorts, and a cropped jacket.

Screen printed Junyas are really just baggy jeggings with a nice liner. :teach:

Always wanted to visit Cuba. Some of my favorite food, and I hear you can find a good cigar there. I love the way the place looks. But yeah, I can guess why you might not want to spend an extended period of time there.

Yeah, I agree that it was a swing and a miss. But nothing ventured, nothing gained. I've recently been trying to break out of my comfort zone a little—well, actually trying to expand my comfort zone. I picked up a blue blazer in an unusual blue specifically because it was unusual (navy is kinda boring to me). Of course the fact that it's unusual makes it hard to match, so it's basically been trial and error. Some days it works, some days it doesn't. But you learn by making mistakes. Just keep trying shit till you find what works. You have a good eye. You'll figure it out.

i think they are the same ones you are talking about. Even though they have all the seaming detail in the knees, they remind me alot of hiking pants, i think because of the material, and ive actually worn them as such several times.

You won't find the best Cuban food actually in Cuba and most of the cigars they try to sell you aren't of the quality they'd want you to believe (not that Cuba has held any kind of monopoly over quality cigars the past 10-20 years).

The novelty in general wears off after the second mojito because the reality of shit like this:

while you're sitting a place like this:

slaps you in the face every few minutes.

Don't know why NN gets shit for his glasses and you don't.

Can you post a fit with better hair, a clean shave, and no glasses?

No matter who wears that fit, I couldn't imagine myself ever thinking it was good

haha I get plenty of shit for it too.

I actually rarely wear glasses, it just seems to come out that way on here. I never shave though.. only time I know of that I have in past 5+ years is my brothers wedding last month, but I'm not going to post photos from that.

here is the closest I can get to what you're looking for...

I think some other things i've posted recently might fall into that. camo blazer with down vest was a pretty clean look.

Much much better. Stop looking so pissed off all the time.

Now Reedo needs to stop raising his eyebrows and cocking his head to the side. :foo:
