I don't know whether you can get it in the US but Optrex do an ointment with called Infected Eye that a vet recommended for our kittens - cleared up their conjunctivitis in no time...

It is suitable for use on humans too - it contains Chloramphenicol

Really like this one. Also, and you've probably mentioned before, what shade of Tricker's are those? They look a little darker than I thought the acorn shade would look.
For the love of all things holy, just use one of those saline solution ones. Visine and stuff like that is terrible for your eyes.

Cheers - they are Acorn and do look slightly lighter in real life but they've darkened a bit through multiple coats of polish (I'm anal about shoe care).

This looks like a colorized old movie: holiday-appropriate, oddly soothing.
