lol? just bc not a lot of ppl on this forum wear attachment or cdiem doesn't mean they aren't forum hivemind picks.

    lulz ur dumb

nobody has worn cdiem in the last 500+ pages of waywn. If there is a SF hivemind, it is obviously for workwear/heritage/americana which comprise the majority of fits

in any case, I posted it because that seems to fit where unc is going

    Thanks everyone for your comments.

This isn't the first time that someone made a spider-web comment about my jeans, but I can't help but think in what universe does a spider web look like this? The distressing reminds me more of lightning than spider webs ...

There has been a big change even if you don't see it.

Just because I'm not wearing khakis and Hanes doesn't mean I didn't change.

Also, maybe it's just my Japanese-tailored tastes but I don't see how there is SO MUCH going on here. There's a black leather jacket with some textural detailing, black t-shirt, black boots, and yeah some distressed jeans. I guess if you're ADD you might find it hard to focus but overall I don't think this is too crazy.

Haha ... to address this, while it's certainly true that not a lot of people wear Attachment and CDiem, it's true that they're hivemind "default" picks. Want twisty denim? Attachment! Black leather "edgy" boots? CDiem/Augusta/CCP et al. I don't think there's anything wrong with my boots -- I'm rather in love with them actually -- and while I do love Attachment I don't see how they are a better or worse pick than my current jeans other than being less "loud." I realize there is a general distaste here for "pointless" adornment, but I don't share it. I actually really like those items posted and I certainly wouldn't mind owning both of them, but that doesn't mean they're necessarily better to replace what I'm wearing here.

Uncontrol I don't care if you buy attachment jeans or whatever the hell this forum is promoting at the moment, but I hate the wash on those jeans. I actually like the boots, though. Edn00bs choice of pants would be siq with that fit

    yea

my point was basically that putting you into attachment and cdiem would just ruin whats creative and unique about your style. you definitely understand what i meant about the hivemind thing.

imo banal chic bizzare would be perfect for you, tho. if i had $$$ i'd get so much bcb

    Quote:
I think what people are saying is that both the jacket AND jeans are pretty flashy, and you might be better off wearing one at a time. I think the jacket would look better with the pants you're wearing in the second pic above ^, and the pants would look better if you took off the jacket and just wore them with that black shirt/sweater or whatever it is.

I don't know why anyone is saying to change the boots.
