SVB your problem in a nutshell:

1. none of your pants fit well. i don't want to say they all need to be slimmer... but definitely more tailored.
2. your shoes are ugly. almost all of them are big clunky ugly american garbage and make you look bizarre and ill-proportioned. you're a lawyer, spend some money and buy some paul smiths.

I'm going to have to cosign #1. Straight Fits work ok if you've got some bulk on top but you need to introduce some taper. No need to kop anything new, just tailor down below the knee.

the snap thing buttons to make the waist smaller, but i guess it unbuttoned when i sat down or something.

Seriously- I work in post-compulsory education. It's part data analysis, part liaison with outside bodies, part quality assurance, part management information systems and part 'he'll be good at this' :)
