Your wife is hilarious. Clothes is like cologne, other people smell it every now and then but you're the one wearing it.

The collar was actually my favorite part of that coat when I owned it. One of the few pieces of outerwear that fit me perfectly, too.

It still comes with a removable hood, doesn't it?

Actually I think that may have only been the first season. This one just has the collar, which I'm fine with because I wouldn't wear straight melton wool in the rain anyways.

Speaking of which, time to get an actually dece umbrella

How is the fit on this...is the sizing ok? The frequent complaint is "potato sack" and "shoulder seam half way on bicep"...while some of the posters here may be blind and/or anatomically retarded, not all can be...

He must have been going for that "hey, look at me, I have a gut and I wear unflattering John Smedly" type of look.

+ 1 SVB, horizontal lines often create the illusion that you are wider than you actually are so if you insist on wearing horizontal lines, you should size down a size or two in order to combat this optical illusion.

Not wearing in the rain because it's not very water resistant or because the rain will damage it? I only ask because I've got the same coat and will bearing wearing it for the first time this winter.
