If you can't stand straight-up without the shirt tugging across the front at the button holes, it's too tight.

ETA: On your second pic, the front of the shirt is pulling apart at the hip level. From that pics alone, it still looks too tight at the hip.

Don't listen to the idiotic advice here. Your shirt is superbly sized. The about-to-explode-any-second-now look is very much in this season...I believe it's called the Corset look amongst fashionistas. I would lose the undershirt though, and expose more skin between the buttons along the front.

All your brands, I would not touch with a 50 foot pole. But to each their own.

With the cooler weather, I got this John Smedley "Belvoir" roll neck/turtle neck, in New Zealand merino wool.

I have one of those, too. :embar:

AA had a special on 10-packs of seconds, so these are seriously almost all I wear.

No cargo pants, though. Also, I'm pretty sure I'm taller than Michael C. Hall.

edit: Just saw the miran fit above my post. Kinda wish I hadn't.

Expensive but unflattering shirts worn with athletic shorts and viewed from a dirty mirror...not good.

I don't know how to fix that!

It shouldn't be above armpit, but at a slightly jaunty angle
Here is the ideal: (in a different colour)
