:scratches head: OK, if you say so. Although, I'll let Brooks Brothers be the judge of that.

Yup, I've checked it out before at some euro type store in San Francisco.

Nice quality stuff that is sold next to Canali, Brioni, etc. Only really checked out the suits/sportscoats, though. Like Smedly, your other favorite brand, its a little too old man like for me.

No way, dude! Smedley ain't old man. Mind you, I can see Pal Zileri being old man though, but not exclusively old man shit....like you said, Canali (which is very well known in the states) is next to it, and that ain't old man.

Check out Smedley models. They are all 20-something. Also, check out John Smedley's blog, where they keep track of celebrities who wear Smedley. Most are young musicians, especially English rappers (England-english (white, but not white like Polish in the UK is white). I think Smedley has a following among oldies, coz oldies go for quality, plus they remember the 60s when Sean Connery was young and wore Smedley and they were young. Now, thanks to Mad Men, everything from the 60s is cool again. But you wouldn't consider skinny ties as old man, or thick framed glasses as old man, or double-breasted suits as old man.

What is with this forum and the anti old-man bias? Earllier, I posted about my love for Geo. F. Trumper colognes. They're an English barbershop, in mayfair in London....I used their shit coz I like to fantasize I'm also an English financier working in the City.....but the response on this board was "That's shit for 50+ year olds!" and "That's old man shit, worn by Prince Phillip"!! I mean, what the fuck?!?!?? Just coz you're 20-smeothing, does it mean you have to wear Bond Number 9 like every other nouveau-riche mindless beefsteak in NYC?

    No, if you're a true 29 you need a 28 or 27 at most...

I have never once cared for those shoes until this moment.
You seem to have a lot of shoes that look great with those jeans, I am jelly. None of my shoes go as well with them.
    Looks good all around
