ya those zippers...
Huh...I'm usually a fan of most of the avant garde fits that get a lot of love on here (it's a taste I've acquired over the past year or so), but I don't know if I really get the love for asobu's fit (no offense, asobu).
Can someone enlighten me? I'm not asking this in a smart ass way, genuinely curious
first, the clothing itself is cool - the zippers, the fabric, the detail
and it fits interestingly. slouchy in a cool way.
"because it's so different"
"because it's so refreshing"
because its Yohji
Yohji reminds me a lot of the older grandpas I see in Chinatown.
seriously good, asobu
yes lel, yes
It's as though you're convinced that if you make this claim enough times, people will accept it as fact.
asobu that is excellent, please post more often.
More from yesterday.
He's right, though.
This. Just add some plain white sneakers and a few shopping bags full of groceries.
Also, please post detail pics of zipper jacket. TIA.
old aziun with white sneaks you said ?
shopping bags ? who needs dem
even have the big glasses they wear !
How? It does nothing to change how good this looks. In fact, if anything, putting that look together with no Yohji would only make it cooler. The proportions are perfect, the silhouette is beautiful, it's romantic, and (personally) I happen to like the zipper detail. I'm sure I'm not alone in wishing for better pictures. Kent's incisive criticism is pretty far off base, in this case; asobu's personal type of designer worship is quite a bit more palatable than both the brand-whoring that goes on a lot around this forum as well as the anti-aesthete/anti-intellectual shit that pretty exclusively detracts from the forum.
Also, Asobu, haven't you posted some fits with white sneakers before?
