As someone else put it in another thread, some opinions are purely value judgements, and yours seem to be just that. There's little to no validation in anything you say and it is not implied in your criticism.

I know people love rooting for the underdog, particularly those who are harsh but true in their judgement (which is somewhat common), but you're just harsh. Finding a good fit is bit difficult for me. I am considering getting a good percentage of my tops darted as a good percentage fit like this or a just tad smaller. Any idea what that'll run me ?

darting is the easiest alteration to do. I'm guessing, but maybe ~$10 per shirt at a dry cleaner/alterations joint?

I wouldn't pay more than $10-15 for darting, ya. I've had it done once, $12 or 13 is what I paid at one of those "alterations while you wait" type places. Had it done in about 20 minutes.
