Although I agree with most of otter's contrast adjustments, I have a feling that the colors in the first image are more accurately represented than the colors in the second image.

couldnt disagree more, just look at the blacks...they look more like grey, which means all the rest of the colors are going to be desaturated

i also didnt adjust the saturation levels at all...just the contrast

    another example

Yeah, I know that the constrast on those sucked but I uploaded them straight from my mobile, didn't feel like using my DSLR.

there is a free photoshop app that is so easy to use, that it takes my 5yr old daughter literally one minute to adjust contrast, add a picture frame and vignette, and then sms it to her godmother

you obviously post your shitty pic to hopefully get a positive response, so why dont make more of an effort, ok

if i was a mod, you would get one warning, after that , you would be IP banned (0)

Dislike the one in the middle with the odd jacket.

Off topic (though I guess not really, given all this talk about photo adjustments), markmont, but what camera is that in the first shot? X100?

good point. I guess the appearance of harsh light with the diffused light source in the second shot threw me off. I do see what you mean though.

That jacket is amazing, and the shirt fabric is pretty nice too. Can't approve of supersized ties though (still looks good, but on principle)

The way that top button peaks out bothers me (yeah, I went there).

    I'm jelly.
