1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

speckled grey wool would look rather nice. though i agree about the tightness and massive improvement. in fact, he has his best fit hidden from all of you, only i've seen it...

    * edit: this might just be a case of 3-pixel camera pic fail. like i'm one to talk :sarcasm:

kingjulien, imo it seems like you have a lot of nice pieces, but no idea how to style them.

I don't think that I would say 'a lot' - you guys kinda confirmed what I was already thinking, that these don't fit quite right, so they're going back to yoox; and otherwise I only have one other pair of pants that aren't jeans (the n(n) ones which are kind of weird and don't go with anything I own). I think I need a Uniqlo trip more than a styling lesson, if that makes sense. I have this coat, some jeans I like, a couple pairs of shoes, two or three other things and like zero basics [IMG].

Grey shirt would have brought that fit together.

^ that is sad to hear as I just passed up a NdG knit in similar color to that SS and would've worn it the same way

SS + navy shirt with white trousers + white sneakers (or black boots)
SS + grey shirt with black/charcoal/grey trousers and white sneakers

you can play around with that Julien. I personally wouldn't tuck since the coat has a hood, but i get the look

I don´t think I can get on board with those socks, man. The rest is pretty solid IMO, except the PS. They clash too much with the suit.

I just don't get it, hendrix. It's like you just put stuff on. One day to the next, no semblance of flow or symmetry or cohesion. Too many colors/patterns/styles/cuts/trends, etc. that don't work well together. I know you can do better than this, pimp.

I like your look Tirailleur. Normally I wouldn't like the over-the-top pitti thing, but it looks good on you. And I like that your stuff is worn in.

I catch your drift Parker. The Pitti comparisons are pretty unfortunate, but I guess its what I have to deal with till the fad passes, because I have been dressing this way for quite some time before Tumblr decided to bastardize the look [IMG]

I for one have taken years to develop my style and I wont let a bunch of misinformed #menswear dudes sway me from my look. When they move on to the next hype shit.. I'll still tilt my tie bar and knot my tie askew nahmean? [IMG]
