AR_Six, solid black jeans/pants would look infinitely better with that fit. Those jeans are mood-killers in the same way that faded gellers disrupted the color-block sweater ensemble Stazy posted a while back

I don't get that but only because I'm not clear on what the mood is that they're killing. It's a grey melange sweater though so it yeah works as well with black as anything else. Probably my most worn one of that marled / shetland lineup of knits they did, I have a bunch and am selling one of the cardis (plug).
It'd look fine with raw jeans, I've worn that sweater with black jeans before. It's just the standard predisposition to not liking heavily distressed denim. I like having a pair of jeans that isn't dark raw indigo. I wear them with Ts but most fits for me are better with something else to add weight to the top for proportion's sake.
When they started selling Nom de Guerre, Mihara Yasuhiro and Margiela, I guess.

Jeans are good. There's a time and place for well distressed jeans... this works. Absolutely zero AF vibe. Solid casual fit.

Maybe painters in england wear different clothes, but they always seem to wear paint splattered trainers and jeans, which is what your wearing. Got to agree with otter, minus the gats it does like pretty abercrombie.
