Eason goes bespoke... What fabric?
And what's the grey stuff on the lapels?
10 oz. linen, looks almost like tropical wool in person but feels so good~
I'm actually not sure what's going on with those, I didn't look closely at it but I'm sure it's going to be filled by the second fitting.
"Like that"? It's a totally normal cuff. Reasons for cuffing vs hemming roughly: (a) imitate how jeans were worn in the era his jeans are generally repro-ing; (b) get length ideal dependent on where on waist he's wearing them and with which shoes; (c) add a little weight at the hem for a good denim drape; ... (g) show off selvage; ...(q) prevent dye from rubbing off to shoes (that will still happen with cuff).
Solid as usual.
Thats the canvassing, it won't be visible when the suits finished.
couldn't get the greatest picture …
top is madewell i think?
pants are etoile isabel marant, just got them over the weekend am in in loooooove
shoes are louboutin espadrille wedges that i wear all the time
i was having trouble pairing these pants with a long sleeve shirt, but i think this ends up working pretty okay. thoughts?
edit: @ ar6 :the pocket detail looks interesting. i sort of like the distressing here. are the gats painted?
thatgirl that is dope. silhouette is nice
wtf at jeans. You look like a painter. Do not like painted gats + heavily distressed and faded denim.
Yes those are painted GATs.
Re fuji, I have painted. I wore nothing like that. I have known painters. They wore nothing like that. Weird comment.
It looks like fusing material in the pic. Could be grey canvas, I guess; can't really see it in the pic. Were there little stitches all over those parts?
yeah i think it looks better with painted gats than some suede/leather gats
Considering that when ToJ sold pants they were pleated, I think it's clear Drew likes pleats.
I think it looks good. Clean jeans would look stoopid with that sweater.
Those were stitches and pins in the pants, I got pricked whenever I moved!
I'm going to have to watch my closet carefully so that this suit does not silently creep out during the night and rape people. Literally, I will have police looking for my suit, I will be forced to testify against it, and it will do hard time.
Just my opinion, but I think it would look more balanced with either another top layer (sweater/jacket) or a less fitted, somewhat bulkier top. The bow adds some volume at the waist, and the pockets add some volume at the hips/thighs, making that the widest point in the silhouette. Obviously, that's looking at it in terms of a traditional female silhouette, which may not be what you're going for.
