1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I like but the skinny denim throws things off a little bit with the looser jacket. Maybe something looser with a strong taper?

I like that fit a lot. I don´t see the jacket too loose that it contrasts the skinny jeans. It looks pretty damn perfect to me.

Just throw away the cardigan. It doesn't fit well. I think this could look good if you were to throw on the right blazer.

    It works.

I think the cardigan is fine, he should just wear it over a white v-neck and push the sleeves up with jeans and chucks. Don't button it, let it hang around a little bit.

That would eliminate the spare-tire effect.

Let's just say I have a very busy social schedule on the horizon. :smarmy:

But yeah, I totally agree; jeans are jeggings-tight. Just wanted to see how the DIY waxing worked out on camera. Better than the last time I tried to wax anything on my own.
I think Drew said something at some point about how tapering the shaft of a boot is actually a pretty straightforward alteration that your average cobbler could take on for a reasonable fee.

You make a play on "wax" but not "tapering the shaft"?? For shame.

Okay it wasn't really a play on words it was a relevant anecdote. Bedtime for me, the brain's stopped working.

^^ Eh, Teger already said something about "the gaping shaft", so I figured that was plenty.

While I'm sure you could get away with wearing pink/yellow/checked shirts at most workplaces nowadays, from my experience you need to be at least in charge of people if you don't want to get 'nice shirt' sort of comments instead of talk about that great report you churned out at 2am in the morning on short notice. It is really about what kind of image you want to project at work.

Which is funny considering some of the downright gaudy ensembles we see every day over in the more conservative MC forum.

Those guys are either 'The Boss' and no one has the heart to tell them they're going to look a like Gordon Gekko in front of the client/s in his hermes critter tie, contrast collar shirt and poofed pocket square (which actually can look nice at other functions) or 'that guy' around the water cooler if they're more junior.

Of course, if you're successful enough that people are trying to sell things/stock/companies to you everyday you could turn up in flip flops and not get a batted eyelash.

this needs to be quoted every 3 months to remind us of how shitty our lives are compared to SVB.
