Correct. No, I never wear braces. I haven't asked to put them on either, but I think they do that by default, which is a bit strange because braces and belt loops is considered a faux-pas. (You could lose the loops and then wear them with braces, I guess.)

No, that's American/online MTM, right? Not an option, because I want to be measured in person.

As to (very general) suggestions/pointers: you might want to ask yourself when you want to wear it (season), and for what occasions (casual, work) or in what circumstances (does it need to be strong, for instance). That will narrow down the selection (because the options are endless) at which point you can look for more specific fabrics. Most importantly (for me at least, because I can wear whatever I want) is: does it look (and feel!) good?

NOBD, love the suit. I was at an 'upscale' department store the other day trying on suits. I just can't get over how sloppy the 'fine wool' pants that come with the suits are. I hate how flimsy they are, and they just generally look like **** to me, never flattering.

However, I LOVE the way your pants are structured. Good consistent taper from the knee down, pretty much no break, subtle stretching at the knees, single cuff, etc. Do you have to go with a fairly heavy wait material to get this 'structure'? whats the secret, looks great. Any way you can take a shot where you are standing still to see how it compares?

^ i agree, i can never get my mc trousers to fit like that, one of the reasons i rarely feel good in a suit.i think NOBD's success is partly to do with the small hems ( maybe 19cm?) and cuff, but also i think he's 6'2" or something which obviously helps.
