1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I know. 'Twas a joke. It's just kind of inconvenient; I went to the next page, looked away for a few seconds, and when i looked back he was halfway out of the frame.

P.S. wasn't there a "post pics of your style evolution" thread on this side of the forum? I looked for it but I couldn't find it.

if you shaved off the chin strap, it would still be as good -- just a different look IMO.

Now only if you took photo of shoes, depending, it may be really bad or "good first post"

Here's my first WAYWT from all that time ago

Not much has changed I guess except I don't dye my hair or shave anymore, or live in a conceptual forest

In reality nothing has changed at all:

Tween, you must used to be the male version of a meanad/bacchant in the midst of worshiping Dionysus. This, of course, must have been after drinking and during the dancing but before the wild music, drunken orgies, bloody sacrifices.

I think jet accused me of being SoCal bait the first time I posted in WAYWT.

In other news, I'm drinking a brandy sling (legit, I just made one with brown sugar instead of supafine) and just made the doapest salad of escarole, polenta, couple of eggs, goat cheese, and a badass lemon-truffle vinaigrette.

I don't know if I posted a real fit on SF during my first stint in 2006 or so, and then I kind of quit SF, posted only on sufu, and came back to SF 4 years ago once I met BrianSD in Seoul and we started hanging out. This is from that time, so not much has changed, except I have other 'concepts' I wear sometimes, softer, more coat-based stuff.

I can't speak for others but I can say that my 'personal style' is about 6 years in the making, since freshman year of college. it really can take a while to find your groove...

and honestly, if one is serious about personal style the journey may never end...
