*sigh * I just weeded through 3 fucking pages of pointless quibbles. Just stop and step away from the keyboard. Stazy nice fit. The gradient shirt is one of the best I've seen.

more or less. r&b called it a windbreaker, but its a lightweight waxed cotton.

Usually like man of kents stuff but i think hes becoming to comfortable dressing like a teenager. Plus i find his epic posts qouteing every picture really annoying, especially when they only say pointelss remarks like "good".

What's 'teenager' about the last fit? I know it's not particularly inspired, but I don't get what's teenager about it - Cary Grant was doing the breton sweater & chinos look in his 50's. Seriously I do appreciate constructive feedback.

As to long posts quoting past fits, I only log on once or twice a day, and there's generally been quite a few fits in between (especially as I frequently log on when half the board is asleep for some strange reason). If you don't like them skip them - the scroll bar is pretty easy to use.

I like that jacket. It looks particularly good open and cuffed.I'm guessing it must wear much cooler than it looks, or maybe it's just me that struggles with outerwear once the temperatures rise. I'm completely thrown this year when the last couple of weeks have had temperatures more like June than April, I've not a chance to wear mid-weight stuff and haven't got much lightweight stuff sorted yet...

    First post here [IMG]

Nice first post. What's the trench?

Nice fit on that SC and the fabrics great.
I don't usually dress all black everything, thought I'd try it out for kicks.

EDIT: Forgot to zip up bootz

I'm not a fan of those boots, but the rest looks good, but I'm struggling to find the black..,

The sperry's look a little out of context with the surroundings, but the shorts and shirt look good. I wasn't expecting to need shorts this early in the year and haven't got round to getting any yet, I must have a look around. Nice pics btw.

I like all of this (including the jacket [IMG]. Jeans fade look particularly good with that gradient.

I like the way you've used streetwear staples to pull together an MC look (although on MC you'd probably get called out on black shoes with khaki pants). I wish I'd got on with the Bedford, great piece, but my XL now drowns me, yet the last Large I tried is just slightly too snug. I need an alternative...

I'd say the most important thing is to stop using so much product. It looks really heavily gelled, which gives it those sharp, thorny spikes and brittle look. Even just keeping it as-is but losing the gel and having it a little messier could be a step up from what you've got going on right now. A bunch of people here use wax (in very small quantities), but I don't know what brand(s) are worth trying.

I can't really tell what you've got going on with the facial hair, but I'd say go full-on beard or go clean-shaven. The mustache-goatee combo you appear to be moving toward gives off a cologne-doused sales rep vibe, and I'd say that's a mug you don't wanna chug.

Also, the passants on your shirt (the things everyone mistakenly called epaulets, which are actually the dangly things you hang off of passants) are no good. It was a short-lived design fad on casual shirts and jackets, it was way overdone, and it looks pretty silly and over-designed at this point.

I know jack shit about sunglasses, so maybe someone else can speak to that.

    Thanks man... appreciate the input!

    +1

Would look so much better if it was a 2 button jacket.
