Dude you can't tailor down a cardigan.

i know it's difficult but these folks seem to think they can do anything ... i've never seen a before/after comparision though. [IMG]

Had another go at the vest today...even an outside picture as it's a nice Spring day!

You seem to be a really good looking guy but your clothing isnt doing you any favours. Top half seems way smaller than the bottom half and the shoes look clownish.

GN, the pose helps but your arms are still askew and it looks a bit silly. I think you've said you can't help it so w/e. Do you actually own other clothes? I think every recent fit from you has involved those jeans and boots.

most of the jeans i used to own are too tight in the thighs and most of my footwear is too tame to go with that jacket (vans authentics, AE's) or not really that nice (mil. surplus boots).

5 days of the week i have to wear boring business casual (and i'm in the process of upgrading that) so it's hard to justify big streetwear purchases.

TBH now that I can afford nicer shit i'm realizing how low clothing is on my priority list. I might kop some sammies and a nice winter coat once winter rolls around but besides that, after going to a bunch of boutiques and handling/trying on nicer stuff, I realized I'm really just in it to "look good" and not from any particular interest in fashion or design--just not my thing. Score one for self-discovery i guess

But, like I said, i'm not gonna post any fit like that again.

how does one's interest about clothing decrease when income increases?

unless your true objective is to look slightly better than the average person I doubt you will achieve the looking good goal you've set for yourself

damn. nice trench! looks like this kai-aakmann piece i saw on Gilt a while back; didn't pick it up because 100% polyester, construction looked specious. & i'm in san diego at the moment; still haven't figured how to use outerwear here.....

if that's not it...looks pretty similar--- brand?

GN good luck with your plan but I agree with the above sentiment. I think you will be disappointed.
