Vest: Panta
Jeans: Levi's

Hey, I have that same overcoat. Looks like you have the same problem I do where there's substantial extra fabric in the chest area. I had mine tailored but it still feels kinda bulky and loose. I love the lapels and the fabric though. I think it's probably the last remaining BR piece in my closet, but I don't plan to replace it anytime soon.

Been away at the seaside for a couple of days - I'm one of those strange people who happen to like the coast in winter...

Anyway here's a couple of shots from yesterday, whilst I catch up with this thread. Weather was pretty foul...

Looks a tad big, but might be better once it's worn in a little.

No real criticism, constructive or otherwise, I like both looks.

I'm not 100% sold on the cropped trousers with the cuffed boots. Rest looks really good. It's been a good location too

ManofKent - it looks like you've found the perfect jeans for you, they look great (aside from the weird way they're flaring in the shin but I figure that's just wind)

Catch up pt 2:

Looking to sell it in the future on B&S towards an MA blazer, if anyone is interested. Beautiful construction, size 36 made in Italy, would probably look astounding on someone a bit taller.

Shirt is Cristiani which I kopped off gilt final, really beautiful fabric. Only problem is that I'd like to get the waist tapered, but there are already darts on the lower back of the shirt that I think the designer put in beforehand. Does that mean it can't be taken in anymore?

Jeans-Marc Jacobs
Boots-YSL

Jacket looks reasonably okay in the shoulders, if you had it taken in a little at the sides, and the sleeves shortened it might work okay.

I'm definitely too old for Brighton these days

Great jacket. Not digging the jeans - I'd start worrying about you ability to produce offspring...

In two minds about the coat - it's the collar.

I don't understand the hate for V's. Jacket looks fine. The jeans looked much better than the khakis.

Looks okay, but I think unbuttoning a button or two would look better.

I've no problem with J.Crew when it fits. This doesn't. Everything is too loose. Even if you've got a gut, wear closer fitting stuff - going baggy doesn't hide it.

The jeans caught my eye most. I like the insulated shirt but the CDG shirt doesn't do it for me.

I like this and don't mind the jeans with the tie too much - I think the vest helps (great vest). I'm oddly drawn to the big collar too - 70's steeze

The differing shades (and textures) of the blue work well, not a fan of the footwear, but otherwise I like this. Nicely pulled together.

Mainly the wind, and they're still pretty stiff. Another wash might help, but I think I should have sized down - they're just a bit too loose everywhere.

I like the vest. Not keen on the Birkenstocks.
