you're doing really well recently, synthese, the last ones have been great in both silhouette and color. this might be my favorite fit with that jacket.

almost as nice as colorado [IMG]

thanks asobu, I think the jacket works much better as the only structured/severe part of a getup - like, when there's looser, flowy stuff (or shredded hems) added to it. It unbalances the hugeness of it, makes it fit a little better.

When do we get another yohji fit?

i had one of those awful moments a week ago in 3 inch wind crust where you start to cross your skis right before dropping off a rock and the only thing you can think is "uh-oh."
Ugh. Hate that. Last time I busted my face and left my nose and lip leaking. Dope fits to both you and snowman.

You will never catch me in dockers and redwings, sorry man. But thanks for the kind words.

Cheers, but they're not Dockers [IMG] - they're Levi 752 True Chinos (not that I've got anything against Dockers apart from the fit on me [IMG]).

You might get me wearing Junya sometime when bank balance is more healthy.

So great, MoK. I remember seeing those Red Wings in a recent pic of yours and loving them. Admittedly, I'd hoped the flannel in today's spoiler would be a red buffalo check or some such thing.

Thanks. Oddly enough red flannel made an appearance today...

This looks really cohesive. I like it.

The forum's recent enthusiasm for designer stuff makes me feel very plebian.

Looks good, although I agree the shoulders look a tad tight.
    I like the fit MoK.

I like the idea of posting Sunday whatever fits.

No shoes cause I'm at home 'studying"

    Critique welcome
    [IMG][/SPOILER]

Top half works, difficult to judge bottom half without seeing the bottom of the trousers.
    thoughts/critique/whatever appreciated

    'Dress' Varsity
    Uniqlo Tee
    Uniqlo Cords
    Clarks DBs

I can't add a lot - both halves are fine, but neither match. Slim jeans & sneakers with the top half, heavier, more workwear jacket with the bottom.
anyways, changing from high tops and sneakers to sweat trousers and boots. other than that, same old stuff. i pretty much wore this minus the ann d boots and ro balaclava in the vid contest, but cant see much in the vid bc it was filmed in the garage [IMG]

i really want to get the sweat trouser-boot look down. heres what i came up with(shoveled snow in this too, really warm!):

I'm not a big fan of sweat pants, but I think you're pretty much getting the look you are aiming for with the sweats and boots.

yeah, but that pose is really not doin' it for me

I like the bold confrontational nature of the jacket, but I don't think the clean lines work with the fraying underneath. The rest is fine.

Yeah. This one was a false alarm and I skied out just fine, but a couple of years ago I was airing into a chute at snowbird, caught my tip on a sapling ([IMG] ) just before, and fell into it backwards. Landed on my back and bounced over a rock field after hitting the only place not liberally populated with sharp, spiky rocks. I thought that was it, actually; my only reaction while falling in was "Well, it's been fun." Terrible feeling.

yea but all your hoey-ist hoes come here to go to school and end up drunk at the mountains needing a place to crash [IMG] edit: thanks, MOK
