Would have loved to see close-up shots, but that still looks great nonetheless.

That's wassup man. Respect. Don't know too much about this dude or the scene, but looked fun as shit.

Reminds me of old DnB parties and Tricky, MF Doom Shows in NYC back in my early 20's.

Tricky was the best when Martina was around. It would have been nice to see him live.

Tyler the creator did a remix for lykke li. May take you back to the trip hop year.

    edit: im terrible with this

this is like comparing apples to oranges. you're paying 4x more for a ray's hellburger burger than you are for in n out, so it clearly better be much better. that being said, i find rays to be way overhyped although pretty good. would rather eat in n out (0)

Apples to oranges bro, why would you compare a $10 burger to a $3 burger?

Fair point, and I didn't make the best comparison. Rifles to RPGs, as it were. Just saying that both chains, which I've heard get "OMG, best burger ev-ar"-type accolades, in reality get blown out of the water by a restaurant that actually puts effort into producing a top-notch product instead of just churning out something that one-ups the mediocre-at-best burger of the masses.

I could probably bring in a parallel about clothing brands which would inevitably rile people up, but I think I'm good with leaving it there.

And Freshness Burger is better than both Five Guys and In n Out. :p

Also, I momentarily thought that jskidder was jwied shooting from a different angle when I saw the photo.

Re: burger discussion the cost thing doesn't really compute with me because (barring a hangover which has its own rules) from where I sit the only good reason to eat a burger is to eat a really good one. Eating at BK or McD's is spending money on stuff that's bad for you without the attendant benefit that it at least tastes awesome.

I don't believe in bacon on a really good burger, but take that away and sounds fantastic. Best in Vancouver is Moderne Burger. Don't know about Calgary, probably too many options for me to realistically canvas given that this place is beef central. I imagine there are some ridiculously good ones because there definitely are for steak. There's a whole thread on good burgers in social life / food.
