Yeah man, we all know how easy it is to save up money working part-time while in college for $1,000 jackets and $300 scarves/boots/etc. Gimme a ******* break, I'd say most of it comes from the parents CC.

Doesn't hurt that he sells everything he buys after a few weeks, probably for a loss.

I can't imagine paying compound interest on a piece of clothing years after I've already worn it out.

i don't know about other university students here, but my tuition is about $2000/semester and I work 34 hours a week and don't live on campus. So I end up paying $4,000/yr compared to some who spend $14,000-$20,000/yr.

^Exactly. If you don't have any dependents or anything, it's easy to build up a mid-end wardrobe over time. Plus kvc works at a barneys coop, iirc, so he gets a discount and can try stuff on before he buys it (an advantage uic has over uiuc... "Urbana" is such an optimistic name).

stupid ****, that's because you don't know how to go about it. I just bought a $400+ retail jacket for 200 including the fees to get it over to me from japan. You just have to be realistic, and not go for items you obviously can't afford. Like say a $1000 leather. That also means buying used, and not retail.

I once bought an Invicta watch that retails for $1295 for $250. Saved over 1k, pretty sweet deal IMO.

Unless you're the financial planner of one of these posters, who gives a ****. We all spend too much on our clothing in the view of the average member of society. Jesus ****, WAYWT is a disaster these days with non-fit related crap.

I don't? I'm already a college grad with salary, what are you talking about. So, why the **** do you feel the need to defend this dude when you have no idea where his money comes from? Because you both dress like ****? Dumb.
