how tall are you magician? you seem very tall from your pictures.
I'm not really that tall, just a hair under 5'11'' I am a skinny guy who wears slim clothes and sometimes I take fit pics with jodum5 or sq4you who arent very tall.

I can see how people can be put off by those details, and I see your point too. I guess what they do is make sure they can't be used formally, haha. They sort of makes sense within the whole collection too, with the other prints of scissors/hands + the deconstruction of suits in various ways, I see the Dr YY stitch as sort of a "sign" of the tailor or something similar. I guess this whole collection was his take on an everyday casual wear suit. Every look was a suit, which I'm not sure he's done previously. I've seen another iteration of this jacket, but it was sort of a double breasted but one half of the front was dual layered so you could unbutton the top layer and have it hanging off (hidden pockets underbeath etc). That one had "chill" stitched on one of the sleeves. The 2 button version of this jacket had a pleated back. All details that makes them inherently informal.

Makes sense. I don't follow YY closely enough to appreciate these finer points. I wish there were some hardbacks that I could leaf through. Are there some hardbacks I can leaf through? I need to start collecting lookbooks more than I do already.

^you actually won't need a bag if you have that jacket, it's got 5 more of less massive inner pockets

softy, I don't have any lookbooks, and I never see any on y! though they must be out there. Regarding other literature, there are a few. Most notable seems to be the massive "Talking to myself", which is sold out everywhere and can be bought from ebay for too much money. There's some other output too, he did "A magazine curated by..." which is worth looking through. A booked called My Dear Bomb was supposed to be published this October, it may or may not be out. Haven't heard much about it. The japanese academic Kiyokazu Washida has been writing about fashion and how it relates to the body, he published a book about Yohji.

The way you take your pics, we'd never know if you were wearing a hat anyway [IMG]

Haha, if I was wearing a hat it would be included in the picture.

Looking forward to see your future hat fit pics, AR!
