the guy was wearing banana republic, polo and something else i cant remember. obviously he is aware he isn't breaking new ground. he didn't even look bad compared to countless others here. making fun of him for wearing that "garbage" is what defines trolling...pointing out that your comment makes you sound all hochnäsig, on the other hand, doesn't.

Guess you're the only one with your head up your ass if other people are correcting you for me. What's it like up in there? Dark?

you're right. better listen to style hero hendrix.

the term "heritage" in all these brands (BR or other) is just marsupialed marketing. claiming that **** like RL/RRL (started not even 10 years before Banana Republic) can market product as "heritage" while BR can't makes little sense. in the end its all just crap (at varying price-points) trying to look vintage-y. i dont see the benefit in pointing this out to the guy to try to make him feel bad about something he already bought.

Pants are a small herringbone pattern, shoes (no vis.) are blue Vanishing Elephant Desert Boots. Both the tie and blazer are navy. I have an interview tomorrow at a large-ish local boutique that carries a lot of Americana brands (Gant, Gitman, WWM kind of thing) and was thinking of wearing the above. Any opinions? The alternative is a slim grey suit.

yeah, "heritage" anything in a marketing campaign - genuine or otherwise - is pretty bloody annoying. it's on a whole new level when it's just toggles added to a zip cardigan though.

do you have to wear a suit to an interview at a boutique? that look isn't really "americana" if you ask me. I'm assuming you are into the workwear aesthetic since you want to work at a place like that. given that, I would wear something more in-line with that aesthetic (or maybe even closer to the store's specific aesthetic). most boutiques want their employees to represent what they are selling.

sick. really like. infinite + rep is blue blazer and grey pants and black captoes acceptable interview attire or should i really be in a suit. i dont like the way my suit pants fit, but really like teh jacket also ^^ I think you should ditch the shirt and wear something more conservative like a light blue shirt or a white shirt. its still an interview

dls: that looks really sharp. How much chest clearance do you have with that blazer (p2p vs. your measured)?

Thanks for enjoying the cartoons. I agree, sq4you sneaker-tuck is best. lol @ super mario.

Re headphones, since I started it, just don't like the concept of portable music (!), i'm constantly talking to strangers on the street, and i bristle at people who are retreating into their ipod world but whatever. also, in-ear is painful and super unhealthy, so at least you do well to use some cans. my 2c.

Also, good costume alexlude.
