Of course. Had my eyes on a IWC ''Da Vinci Chronograph'' (silver dial, croco Strap)

But then again you know, i've wanted that AP for a long time now :(

Thanks for the info on Stitchy's collection. I didn't know he also has a Reverso.

IWC makes a great product, but I'd definitely take an AP Royal Oak chronograph over a Davinci chronograph. It's not even a close competition.

As for pricing, you may want to do a bit more homework. There are 2 Royal Oak chronographs, the out going 39mm, ref 26300st and the new 41mm 26320st. Which are you trying to price? The one in your photo is the outgoing 39mm (the dials are a bit different on the 39 & 41mm). Unless AP had had a very recent price increase the list price of the 39mm is $22,800 and the list price of the 41mm is $23,900. You may want to verify list prices, so you have an accurate idea of the discount you are actually getting. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I went to the AD 2 times....watch was too top heavy, but bracelet was loose....just took the plunge the third day and bought it...sized it, added half link from my Hulk, removed the divers extention and the watch fits perfect.

    Regards.

But the Tourby isn't visible on the dial--that is a no go for you eh?

I guess maybe this goes in tandem with your new simple dial approach

But in all honesty, that watch is disgustingly awesome.

lol, yes, i prefer the tourb to be visibile through the dial, but for this watch, i make my exception. all pateks tourbs are only visibile through the back iirc, think we have talked about this yes?

lol again, while its certainly not simple, the symmetry is perfect, and i dont know any grand complications that are "simple." :)

SO awesome. beautiful design, tourb/repeater/perp cal, my goodness. add a ratrapante chronograph and an equation of time, and id go nuts.
