That's because GMTs are the bomb.

They do look kinda cute in a knit cap, though:

Doesn't a GMT become useless if you live in the same time zone?

Well, there's a depressing thought. In any case — I don't know how to actually use these things, I just like pretty colours.

Nice one. I favour the GMT version, of course...

Absolutely! Please take pics when you get it. I'm sure that Tahitian MOP will be sahweeet! :slayer: BTW, Derek, whey are you "passing it on"?

A friend of mine had one with an MOP dial for about a month. He found it too difficult to read the time and the subdials were practically invisible. He felt it lost a lot of its functionality with the MOP. Later on he purchased one with a regular dial.

I love Daytonas. Below are a few quick pix of 2 of my Daytonas.

Daytonas are great watches. Even this one, which I regret not getting a better photo of...

Pretty excited about the PP Nautilus Annual on a steel bracelet. Ref 5726. I have no original pics but hope to see one in person Saturday.
What I want is an annual calender watch durable enough for daily use and minimal immersion. Obviously $47k is a committment for most of us. Ouch. I will try to trade a 5146 on leather.

Am I stuck paying full price in the US for this new model?
Is there another steel annual suitable for daily wear?

    Thank you
