Yeah I was pretty surprised as well when I read it, especially with the AP, as they have the same movement.

    Thank you for the compliment!

Sorry, I do not have much info about the Brand. I stumbled across this watch on ebay while looking for Vintage Swiss Watches.

Another similar watch that I found on ebay.

this is absolutely gorgeous. is it the 372

i am hoping to swing a panerai sometime soon.

im thinking on the 112, 176, or the 372.

any opinions guys, or suggestion to other ideas. i want a simple 2 handed watch, with the sandwich dial.

edit - looks like the 372 is not in the budget. :(

    Thanks - its the 390.

I think the classic 111 is a great choice for a first Panny.

    well, its freaking beautiful.

i like the 111, but i really want a plain 2 handed watch. all my others have a small seconds subdial. i need a bit of variety i think.

thanks for the idea tho, i havent decided, or even settled that it will happen. but ill keep my mind open. :)

checking in...old watch, old NATO, new pic. :)

this has become pretty much my onewatch. :foo: A couple years ago i had built up a pretty nice collection of 13 watches..then my house was broken into and i lost 11 of them. Then i sold the 2 panerais i had left to fund this and some guitar stuff. I picked up a couple IWCs along theway and I wear my wife's panerai sometimes. But this guy sees 99% of the wrist time.
