Some nice stuff on the previous few pages....
looks great man!!!
Because of the price or the attention it draws to him?
because a matter of months ago he couldn't even fit a simple blazer or cut his hair properly and now he's accessorized like Aristotle Onassis?? come on.... harsh yes, but true. I really loathe the SF sycophancy.
edit : nvm
I think the majority of my blazers fit fine, and cutting my hair properly is subjective.
So the kid has a Rolex which he didn't 'earn'. Grow some balls and deal with it - i.e. not on an internet message board.
So lets get back to the watches...
...or pocket watches.
I did say a matter of months ago, however, you are right... as shown above, I stand corrected. This is fabulous.... you are obviously a natural. As you were Mr. O.
Apologies gents... now yes back to the watches... I like that pocket Apropos. How old is it? I posted an early 1900's Elgin gold pocket a ways back... I think I'm beginning to like them more and more although I don't imagine having the opportunity to wear one very often.
can't make this one out except "Pittsburgh" ... anyone?
platinum VC I believe.
Unfortunately I can't help you, but those are some cool photos.
Bump...will be in Shanghai for 3 days....can anyone recommend a place/area where I can browse pre owned timepieces?
Impulse purchase today - been hanging for a memovox. Got this one - 1953 JLC memovox in gold. My jlc collection almost complete - just need a vintage reverso.
Absolutely stunning!! Where do you find most of your vintage pieces? I have a couple on vintage Omegas but would love to buy a couple JLC vintage pieces.
There are two watch dealers in Sydney who i am on the mailing list for. When something like this pops up im over it like a rash!
