Is there really no love/interest for antique pocket watches out there? I was hoping somebody may have some info or comments on this.

Yes Kid N - I was happy if I got the one - but got two! [IMG] Sharp eyes, yes that is the original wallet corner 'logo' imprint on the tip of the second strap.
Finn, strangely from a worn drying wallet i got 'brand new' straps (not much patina) - They actually were/are as good as OEM. The strap maker using the internal wallet soft leather for the strap 'backing' and the main wallet outer for the outer strap. Its a great way to recycle something like a wallet thats been with you for years and now continues to be in a different form!

Every year or two, I get a white ostrich strap for my mother-in-law's reverso. She's very petite so both the hide and size have to be custom. ABP always does a nice job and keeps my MIL and wife happy.

I have no idea how you guys keep watches in such immaculate condition - I bang my watches everywhere and they're full of scratches, cuffs and dings

It's a shame; but generally there isn't. I guess because pocket watches have fallen out of fashion; there isn't as much of a demand even for high quality pieces.

It's a great looking piece though...you mention that you "found" it; does this mean a purchase?

After saving for a long time, I finally got myself a real watch. I keep forgetting to take pics of it, but here is what I got:

Got this as a gift. I love it. Might not be everyone's taste.

I actually tried this on at the omega boutique. Too big for my wrist (especially the height) but the watch is beautiful and the caseback is awesome. Can't wait to see some wrist shots!

How can people not "get" Panerai when they see hotness like this. Such a phenomenal piece of design
