simple, elegant, symmetrical, classic design. superb movement, top notch maker, great complication. anything else?

I've seen far superior designs, just as simple, elegant, symmetrical and classic, for approximately $80,000 cheaper. Not impressed.

Stichy answers your question fairly succinctly below. But I would say additionally, I love the "DNA of that watch." To me, the prototypical annual or perpetual calendar is a Patek, and that complication is probably the one that I desire the most. The dial also had an extremely large amount of information, and the dial in no way looks cluttered.

From what I know, the Patek Annual calendar runs you TOPS ~$50,000. So what watch with those functions is available that the maker will pay you $30,000 to wear?

exactly. also its a very "simple" yet complicated complication, and very useful as well.

 i was wondering the same, but didnt want to get into it. the question didnt merit it.

Yes - ABP and Camille Fournet are my go-to makers for custom straps. They make a nice product.
