Like I said the Reverso is not a young man's watch.
I'm not a fan of the Cartier, to be honest.
What are you a fan of?
watch p0rn thread
Thats a long list
IWC Portugese, Ingenieur, Portofino
JLC Master Memovox, Master Geograhic
Vacheron Constantin Overseas, Quai De lile
Girard Perregaux WWTC
Patek Nautilus etc.
Linde Werdelin spidospeed, Spideolite
Tag Heuer Silverstone
Hublot Classic Fusion
Omega Railmaster, Hourvision
I could go on.
You could get an JLC amvox it matches your car.
Just wanted to see if you anything and have a good taste (I tried you out), you have passed the test, now I can discuss with you :
I dont know really i'm looking for a simple watch it should be black/brown leather strap and silver dial, i'm not after a gold watch. As you know little of my taste for JLC and Cartier. I'm looking for something square it also could be round if it's really nice and got to me. I dont wanna spend over $8000 and I also could buy used one if it's a good price.
JLC amvox was nice, how much is it?
Okay I would go used
the Amvox models are ltd ed. and depending on the model, they go for 7k$ and up
there's a bunch for sale here
It is nice, but I dont think this is a watch I would wear that often. Do you have any good tip for a square watch I can check out?
I really like square watches, but nice looking ones are few and far especially over 2000$, the only ones coming to mind are Tag Heuer Monaco and Silverstone, Patek Nautilus and Bell & Ross. (the last one is not really a suit type watch).
If doesn't have to be 100% square Panerai 210 etc.
That Tag Heuer Monaco dont look that bad really. WIll check that out tomorrow in the store, good price 2!
I'm also really starting to like Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean XL
Next time you are in Copenhagen go check out Franz Jeager & Me, he has a lot of nice used watches. (not all of them are on the website)
A watch is such a personal item, and everyone has their own taste. So just buy w/e you WANT, because in the end, it is your wrist.
Looks nice, used watches ye?
You are so right and that's what i'm doing but I want to be 100 % sure and see if there is anything else that would be nicer perhaps.
Oh nothing wrong with some due diligence. Especially in the watch world, where they are so many watches out there. I'm glad you went with the one that actually makes your heart sing.
Anyway, lets see some pics!
i have always been a fan of the close ups.
cool beans, post pics when you get it
