You may want to check out Laurent Ferrier. Arguably the finest watch you can buy. Look up and see. If I had the cash, I'd go for it even over Dufour! Met Mssr. Dufour at his little manufacture. Wonderful man and amazingly beautiful finishes. Sigh...

Beautiful watches. However, with limited distribution and small production, if something happens to him and the company doesn't remain in business, parts could be very difficult to come by. A friend's wife has an Eterna (Porsche Design owns them). Although the brand is still in business, their distribution in the US has always been quite limited, which has resulted in her having difficulty getting parts for her 10 year old watch (damaged its bezel) . Her watch wasn't that pricey so maybe not a big deal, but on a really pricey watch that would worry me. Still stunning watches from Laurent Ferrier.

Never knew about this either, but sadly it looks like a fake to me.

Not so sure Cylon. I went to an AD here in Vancouver a couple weeks back and was shown the exact same watch in pink gold. The salesperson told me it was made for the Asian market. The proportions were great, slimmer bezel than the regular Master Control but not ultra thin.

Not surprised an Asian market watch would also appear in Vancouver with the large population here.

The 000/111/112 are almost boring...I like the 312 and wear it more. I find the date essential in a watch and the movement of the second hand seems reassuring.
Regards.

Blasphemy !
yikes, auto and date on a PAM :hide:

My Pam 312 gets a ton more wrist time than my boring 112.....:embar:

Regards.
